I just downloaded the 4.7 package of the audio module and installed it. I am seeing this error when I (successfully) submit an audio node or edit an existing node:

The following errors were encountered, preventing the ID3 tags from being saved:

* ID3v2: Skipping "NEW" because cannot match it to a known ID3v2 frame type

I have not changed any of the options under the ID3 section of admin/settings/audio. There are some problems with that page, which I will submit as a new bug shortly.

Which version of getid3 do you use?

i'd double check the tags you've defined in /admin/settings/audio/metadata i've got a suspicion that you added a "new" type and didn't uncheck the "write to file" option. getid3 would encounter the tag and not know how it should be formatted and then fail out.
