7.x Overview
"Apply for Role - Webform" is an extension of the Apply for Role module. It allows users to apply for roles using a Webform by alterting the webform settings. This allows users to submit additional info during their applications according to whatever fields you add into the web form. You can now create an elaborate application form, and use this module to associate a role application with it.
6.x Overview
THIS MODULE REQUIRES A PATCH TO APPLY FOR ROLE UNTIL THERE IS A NEW RELEASE FOR THE MODULE: here it is
"Apply for Role - Webform" is an extension of the Apply for Role module. It allows users to apply for roles using a Webform by alterting the webform settings. It (somewhat) fulfills the need of not being able to specify fields for extra information in role applications. You can now create an elaborate application form, and use this module to associate a role application with it.
Requirements
- Apply for Role
- Webform (version 6.x-3.x)
Known problems
Until views support is backported into the D6 version of Apply for Role #364247: Add integration with views, there is no way to link show a link to the webform application in the apply for role administration page. Once views support is added, it'll be easy on my part. Should be done shortly...
