Very nice barebones module. I need one with roles so I might try to look into that for you, but I'm still learning drupal so I might not be able to help...

Anyway, I get a page not found error instead of 'No user was found with that ID' when the uid doesn't exist.

It's expected that the links are generated instead of hand coded so this shouldn't typically happen unless the user is hand editing the URL. If they're doing that then they can expect odd results.
