I am fairly new with Drupal but have been breezing through a majority of this theme which i LOVE. I'm hitting a snag with the slideshow:
<div id="slider">
<img src="Drupal/themes/andromeda/images/slideshow/image1.jpg"/>
<img src="Drupal/themes/andromeda/images/slideshow/image2.jpg"/>
<img src="Drupal/themes/andromeda/images/slideshow/image3.jpg"/>
</div>
Nothing is appearing on the page, just and empty space. Is there a module that needs to be enabled? Unfortunately the manual is very vague and only describes the code to put into the block. I would appreciate any direction anyone could give. :)

shadcn commentedok make sure these are ok.
1. Read this http://drupal.org/node/1181286#slideshow
2. You don't need any other module to show the slideshow. the theme comes with the required js files.
3. All you need is upload the pictures in the sites/default/files folder.
4. Then add the html found on the documentation page.
5. Change the image path to match yours. make sure you consider paths when Drupal is in a sub directory..etc.
6. Select Full HTML as the block format.
7. Select the region.
8. Save the block.

gramoun_kal commentedThe path to the image is relative to your drupal root installation. If it's a standard drupal install, it should read:
sites/default/files/nameoffile.
Also: the pictures must be 940x400px. If smaller, the picture will be offset. Can be fixed with css but the theme will just look weird if the pictures are not large enough.
I think both should be mentioned in the handbook.
PS: Oh! I can edit it myself! On my way.

kimlupe commentedTHANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I had the files stored in the theme folder and that was the problem. I will close this. You guys rock.
