I installed the Amazon_items module by copying the files in the Drupal modules directory and doing whatever was said in INSTALL.txt, version 4.5.0. I configured the module to my liking through settings. The problem is, I don't understand from the user interface what I can do now. I want to choose some Amazon items and say to the module "here are the items you should display". I can select the items from the Amazon site, but I don't know how to make the module display them. How can I do this? In addition, I don't see any box under the nodes although I have configures user permissions.

Finally, how can I customise it for Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ca ?

Your first issue is covered in the INSTALL.txt.:

"6. Go to administer > content > configure > default workflow and put a check in the "amazon item" column for each node type that will accept Amazon products"

You must do this before the box will appear on the node add/edit page.

As for the international Amazon sites, there is already an issue created for this.
