When I turn on the Rich Text Editor, the black text is unreadable on a blue background, both in Firefox and in IE.

jwolf commentedThe header for this theme is a background image set in the body.
What ever the background color (or image) is for the body, the WYSIWYG (TinyMCE - right?) editor uses that color or image for its background.
This is fixable by editing the style.css file and adding a background color for the WYSIWYG editor.
Please refer to the following thread for a fix:
"tinymce, background color"

daviding commentedThanks. that fixes the color, but I'm now getting cutoff of the text in rich text mode.
The text is shifted almost one inch to the right in the pane, so that there's blank space at the left, and missing text at the right.
We're almost there ....

jwolf commentedSorry, but this is really an issue with the module and not the theme.
I'm gonna have to defer you to the module's maintainer for this.
