After uploading a file, I am unable to delete the file when this module is enabled. It seems to screw up the AJAX refresh or something.

To recreate:
UPload a file and click SAVE
Edit the content and try to hit the REMOVE button and watch as nothing happens. Click save.
File is still there

Turns out that the problem was with another module I enabled called the content_locking module. This module does not cause any problems with deleting attachments as I thought.
