michelleYes, it works with content profile. That's the only node profile module in D6. APK doesn't delete anything. If you uninstall it, it will all go back to normal.

blueblade commentedHi Michelle,
Thank you for your quick reply =)
I have just installed APK but my content profile is not showing up afterward...also, I have to manually delete the user profile panel page generated by APK before the content profile page shows again....what do you think I did wrong here...?
Thanks again.

michelleI really don't know. Sorry, I hate to be mean about this but when I say I'm not offering support on this version I really do mean it. If you don't want to heed my warning not to use it, that's your decision but you are on your own if you do. I need to spend the time getting this ready to be used, not troubleshooting for people.

blueblade commentedMichelle,
Thanks again and no, you're not being mean at all. I appreciate your efforts of doing all these work!! =)
One question tho, if you have time, can you please let me know how I can use views 2 to filter information so that I can get a list of posted articles by the user I am viewing? never mind if you have no clue what I am talking about...
Thanks again and I hope to see your completed version of APK soon.

michelleYou'd use an argument on user ID. More specifically I don't know off the top of my head. I haven't looked at views 2 in quite a while.

blueblade commentedHellow Michelle,
I am checking out your 'apk_user_tracker' view trying to figure out how you get the current viewing user's posting to show. I see that you use 'Node: User posted or commented' under argument...you dont use argument on user ID at all but the tracker is working perfectly.
I am currently using 'me' aliases. When I followed your advice and use argument of user ID, I do see the posting for the user I am viewing shows correctly. However, when I come back to my user profile, views seems to get confused by the url because the url shows as user/me instead of user/1 (and under argument > user, i have choosen Default argument type: 'User ID from URL')
Can you please tell me what you have done to fix this? your tracker works perfect even with 'me' aliases installed and running...

michelleThe view uses the user context on the panel page as an argument. What you alias the URL to won't affect it. Views uses the real path.

blueblade commentedHi Michelle,
Thank you so much for your help. I think I understand what you are saying and will try to see what I can do. Thanks again very much. Also, I posted the same question else where and got the solution to work and I thought the information may be useful for you too if someone has similar question again: http://drupal.org/node/405866
Many thanks again and I hope to see the stable version coming out soon!!

dennis605 commentedI've got the same prob. My apk and 'User Profile' fields are sometimes blank.
Is there any working solution?

michelleThis is a 3 year old issue from an alpha version and was answered to the best of my ability then. Re-opening it isn't going to get you anything different. If you have problems with Content Profile, you might want to try there and see if it is still supported or in the forums.
