Have had to use redirect

Hi,
I installed drupal 7.0 manually. Everything is working fine, however I cannot find how I can make clean url's, my site is currently showing http://proudmumclub.com/drupal-7.0/ and ideally I would like to remove the drupal-7.0 but despite searching your site, cannot see how this can be achieved. I am not majorily technical so the simplier the explanation the better really :). I have also had to use redirect to get to www.proudmumclub.com, is this the ideal way to do this? I love drupal so far and have even managed to put images in blocks. What I have achieved has been done so in the space of 10 days from install to now. Your help to clean up the urls would be much appreciated.
