This module enables you to show or hide a Drupal block based on the type of device a visitor is using, such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Features
When a block is set to be hidden, it won’t be rendered or sent to the user’s device. This reduces the site’s load, making it more efficient and lightweight compared to simply hiding a block through your theme.
Post-Installation
After installing the module, navigate to the Block Layout page at https://yoursite.com/admin/structure/block. From there, configure the visibility settings for any block you want to show or hide depending on the device type.
Additional Requirements
This module relies on the mobiledetect/mobiledetectlib library to identify the user’s device type.
Similar projects
The Mobile Detect Block module offers similar functionality, but it is compatible only with Drupal 7 and is no longer maintained.
