In Admin 1.x, when you hovered over Nodes, Teasers, and Blocks, a nice dark boarder with admin links (edit, revisions...). This seems to be missing from Admin 2.x.

Am I wrong, or was this feature was discontinued? Do I need to look for another solution like: Admin Links?

Yep, same issue here. Why'd they disappear? They were incredibly useful.

Yes, they were removed for a variety of reasons. They may return as a plugin block or separate module someday.
