no permission to access admin/user/*

Hey everyone,

first of all: thanks for this great module! but i've got a really strange problem with it. once activated i can't access the user administration anymore. neither it shows the 'people' menu item. when i try to access a page beyond admin/user i'll get the error message 'You are not authorized to access this page.'.

First i thought it had something to do with the permissions - even if i'm always logged in as user 1. but as you can imagine i couldn't test it, because i can't get to admin/user/permissions either.

i don't know if it matters, but i'm running a multisite drupal installation, with the admin module located at 'sites/all/modules'. Drupal's version is 6.1.

has anyone else experienced this behaviour?
