It would be great to be able to choose the node type where addthis should be added.

For example, I have several node contents such as:
Basic Page,
Article,
Feed Item.
With a such feature, I would be able to add "addthis" only on Feed Item.

I completely agree. I am searching for a way now to remove it from certain nodes. It could work like comments where you can turn them off per node, or like blocks, where you can say "except on these pages", etc.

Another option would be to put it IN a block instead of in the links section of the node.
A quick/temp solution may be to create a custom node template modify the placement that way.

Please be aware that part of what is said is already there.

- You can add it to a specific node type. Therefore fields are introduced to this module.
- The block implementation can be used to add this to any page or to only one certain url. You might even user Context module in conjunction with this.
- Turning it of per-node is not possible at this moment. Not having it on certain node types is possible when you use the field to implement them on the node.

I do agree that after setup a onetime wizard to add field to all the node type might be a good feature.

See http://drupal.org/node/1309922 for more information on configuration. It not a definitive guide but its a start.

As noted in #4, this feature is already in place. You can add an AddThis field to any node type.
