In search(), there is a call to $(...).id(). I'm not sure where that function comes from, but I had to replace it width .attr('id') to get this working.

This version of Active Select is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
