A few users have reported 'missing' albums, i.e. albums that exist within database tables, and with content successfully uploaded, but which cannot be seen by going to the acidfree node. (see http://drupal.org/node/81857 for more)

sounds like this was a misconfiguration -- not published abums? Try setting the defaults to something sane in admin/settings/content-types/acidfree
