It would be awesome if the block could display all the node queue's to which a node can be assigned. It should of course also provide links to add/remove the node from the queue. This would make queue administration much more elegant than the way that it is done by default.

OpenChimp commentedAfter using node queue more I have come to feel that this isn't as important because this functionality is already provided by going to the nodequeue settings page and checking the box: "Create a menu tab for each node that could belong to any queues" That tab displays a list of all the queue that the node is eligible for. I still think that it would be a very nice, intuitive interface for admins to have a Node Queue block that shows up on each node allowing them to promote the content without going to the node queue tab.

todd nienkerk commentedMikeLikesIt: Sorry for taking so long to respond. Generally speaking, I'd rather not add too many features to About This Node that are highly module-specific. While Nodequeue is certainly a popular module, it's one of many that provide the ability to "place" nodes into various containers. If I added Nodequeue support, I'd be obligated to include support for all other "placement" modules, which would lead to a loss of focus of About This Node's narrow purpose.
I suggest adding a feature request for Nodequeue to provide an additional block that duplicates the functionality of the tab you've described. The logic is already in place, so it shouldn't be terribly difficult to implement it.
Because Nodequeue already does what you're looking for -- and because I'm reluctant to add module-specific information to About This Node -- I will set this issue to "won't fix." If there's more demand, I will reconsider.
Thanks for taking the time to convey your thoughts.
