Problem with blocks / forum

hi,

When I post an adsense code block on the frontpage, it puts almost 2 cm's of white space between the title and the code of the block. This can't be normal. Also the forums buttons don't display correctly. I'm not sure where the problem is but, hopefully you could explain.
