I notice this project has been sitting here empty for some time. I have been working on a module designed to allow LayerSlider to be CMS managed. My module can be found in my sandbox right now and it is currently under active development.

It would be best for the community to have only one module for this - and yours has the more appropriate name :-)

If you are still interested in working on the module think it would be best for us to collaborate! But failing that I would be happy to take ownership of the project.

I am working on layerslider module and will commit my code soon. I would like to keep my module name (layerslider).

I am closing this issue, as there haven't been follow-up actions as per Taking over unsupported (abandoned) projects (which isn't just about unsupported or abandoned projects).
