Release?

I needed this module for on of my ecommerce website and started using this one.

I have coded most of the missing parts and have them working on my production website :
#1992932: Add order tracking.
#1992920: Add tracking for add / update the shopping cart.
#1992922: Add tracking for Product Page Views & Category Page Views

I still need to do :

• Tracking of category page views
• A way for the admin to set where the product categories are.
• Fix the todo : "Find a better way than sending the order data to piwik instead of
  the next page request." I have an idea about it I need to test

When all of this is done next week, I will contact marcusx and ask him if I can co maintain this module.

Some follow up :
Marcusx emailed me he was following this tread, so as soon as I have a solid base, I will post it here. I am late, havent found any time to finish the v1 last week. Hope I will be able to pack everything up this week ^^

I am not sure I will have time to do what I want on this module in the next 2 weeks, so here is what I got for now, that way anyone can try it.
You can track add to cart, orders and productview.

But for the product view, you need to apply this patch to piwik

I made a patch from the attached zip so this can be reviewed. But this might not be the right issue for working on that. I haven't looked into what part is covered here and if we already have separate issues for distinct parts of the changes.

Maybe we can have separate patches for separate new features?

I think if we wan't to release this we should have a least the basic stuff that is covered by https://drupal.org/project/commerce_google_analytics.

And another note. Are there any API changes on Piwik side since the Piwik 2.x release? I haven't done Piwik stuff for a while and might not be up to date if we need to look out for something.

Maybe we could push this version in a dev branch and give it a go :)

I am not able to apply the patch. I put the patch in the module dir and patch < commerce_piwik-improovements-2196205-7-D7.patch with the following error:

Perhaps you should have used the -p or --strip option?

Just take the zip file tbfno, and you will have the full working thing ^^

Ok, so the module is already patched. But, I get the following error on WSOD on the product display pages:

PHP Fatal error: Cannot use object of type EntityDrupalWrapper as array in /sites/all/modules/commerce_piwik/commerce_piwik.module on line 87

Will do some debugging myself tomorrow.

Arg, I forgot to modify this line.
Just set the line to "$category = ''; "
It assumes the name of the field that holds the category.
I still need to do kind of configurable selector for the categories of the product.

What is the status of this module?
I would really like to use it in production with Piwik 2.x, so has anyone tested it and can confirm that it is stable? And should I use the version of this issue or the sandbox or even use this patch? So i am also a bit confused, like the user in this issue.

I think it would be good to make it a full project, since the piwik integration for commerce would be really a good thing, but I guess there is no time for maintaining this module...

@gandalf I really don't know if it still works or what patches are needed. Made this for a project a long time ago and have not needed it since.
