Tiles are displayed based on their creation date right now. It would be very useful if you could change the weight for each.

As an alternative, when you view all tiles (admin/structure/tile-hover), the end-user could be able to drag and drop each tile in the order they want it to be displayed on their page. Therefore, weight on the config page = weight on the display page.

Probably would be a better idea to do the weights this way since it's fairly simple and understandable to the end-user.
