Let’s give empty homes a new lease on life!
There's 2.88 million of vacant homes in France, more than 13 million in Europe. You can see them every day, wherever you live, wherever you go. It's a hidden resource, which could be used to solve the housing problem, urban sprawl and the decay of town centres and rural areas.
On oqp.io, everybody can share information about a vacant home, from a smartphone, a tablet or a computer. This information can be enriched along the way, and refurbishment ideas and quotes can be shared, to make an empty home a comfortable and ecological place to live in. Then contributors can produce a high quality description and illustration, to broadcast this product on the usual classified websites, to reach tenants or buyers.
Drupal contributions
Using Drupal 8 to build the proof of concept and not being run by a coder, oqp.io gives back to the community by requesting great features, testing, bug-reporting and occasionally translating or submitting a small patch. It has also sponsored a partial Drupal 8 port for the Anonymous Publish module (CL submodule).
