HI, I used to use theupload module and made a view to show the file as a link, when I use filefield it is going in to another field I gues so how can I get all of the old files I already uploaded to show the same like when I use filefield?
I hope I'm being clearn, do I still need upload enabled in drupal core under the modules area?
Thank you for any suggestions as I do like filefield, filefieldsoures and filefieldpath, if I can get it all together it will make for a very nice organized file system.

quicksketchIt's really pretty difficult to move from Upload to FileField. See the FileField handbook http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/filefield under the "Migrating from another module to FileField".

Jim Ruby CreditAttribution: Jim Ruby commentedI found a page:
Core Upload module to FileField
http://drupal.org/node/893074
I am not good at php, I called my field testfile
I am not sure what to change, so if someone could mod it and tell me how to run it I'd be greatful as I have a lot of files and there is just no way I can re-upload them all, would take me forever.
Would someone mind please helping me get this to work so I can convert over all the way to filefield?
I also presume I can turn off the upload module after this too.
Thank you for your help.

quicksketchI'll leave this issue as "fixed", since I don't provide support on custom coding in the issue queue.
