Got it running in d7 without coding or templating.
Just use "semantic views" as "Style settings". Then it´s possible to create the output needed.
"PHP filter" must be enabled in the core module section.

quicksketchThanks for the update. Obviously it'd be better if we didn't have to have users typing any PHP code to get this working, but nice to know that the module can almost work as-is.
