jacksonkirka commentedThis is an easy fix. It is an idea problem.
1) In your mind separate feed nodes both feed nodes and filter feed items FROM displays or views.
2) Enter an rss, atom or xml feed as normal but leave out viewing it leave menu entries blank on the feed.
So now you have the feed and related items in your MySQL database but you can't access or view them.
3) To view them add a menu item DIRECTLY where you want to access the FEED ITEMS. The exact path to
feed items is entered as a path so it shows first and EFFECTIVELY but not LOGICALLY become default.
4) The path looks like this http://www.mydomain.com/node/9999/feed-item/
5) 9999 is the actual feed node for that feed
6) mydomain is your actual domain
7) feed-item is literal
