Url encoding issue with slimbox

Hi ! Slimbox can't display images containing characters such as parenthesis. In the FAQ, they say to use the php urlencode() function to get it work, but I can't find where to put it. I have many galleries where filenames contain parenthesis, so all this galleries are broken.
