If you are looking into #354867: SEO: Add Canonical Tags to Quicktab Pages and possibly revamp the URL-build mechanism in the progress of fixing it, it would be nice to be able to edit the #parameter strings for each tab.

For example renaming

mysite.com/#quicktab_1 into mysite.com/#new
mysite.com/#quicktab_2 into mysite.com/#hot

And so on. This functionality can already been found in http://drupal.org/project/cck_fieldgroup_tabs
