Hello.

Is there a way that I edit a content type's layout, so that every node of that type that I create to be automatically designed with that pattern?
It would be very helpfull since very often you want a fixed layout for your main node if it contains a lot of CCK fields for example.

Hi,

There is something which may help, which is layout sets.

Create your desired layout and then on the Zones tabs, look for 'Save as new layout set' in the Tasks select dropdown and follow through.

Once you have saved a layout set, you can go back to the content type edit page and it will allow you to choose a default layout set for all new nodes of that type.

Perhaps this isn't quite what you were expecting, but hopefully it helps?

Hi,
I am having some thousands of nodes of same content type.
I like to display all those node belong to that particular content type
in any layout using composite.All the contents are already uploaded in the site.
Now is it possible to bring all that content type nodes to display
themselves in a layout.Or i have to do for all the nodes..?
Please help me.

Follow the steps explained in content (1). But before saving the content type, tick 'Reset all existing nodes of this type to the default layout set.'
