While working with issuu module I've mentioned a couple of quirks:
- Imagine the following scenario: I create a node with a filefield (multiple-values) using issuu widget. Then I want to edit this node and add an extra document. If I do this, I'm unable to edit issuu-values for the added field. The same goes for removing existing filefield value and trying adding another.
- Default values are not applied correctly (in combination with the previous quirk, sometimes we have documents which has to be manually edited on ISSUU, otherwise documents are not working correctly).
See attached path which fixes this.
However in Drupal 6.19 applying default_values to textfield still not working for me (if I change it into textarea, it works with the attached path).

zeip commentedHad the same problem, patch fixed it with current VCS version. Also having the same issue with textfields not having a default value on Drupal 6.x-dev.
zeip commentedIt seems that in that point of form processing you need to use #value instead of #default_value for textfields. Attached is a patch that fixed the textfields for me as well as a combined patch of that and the above fix.

marvil07 commentedThanks for the patches :-)
I added the initial patch to the module, it greatly solves the mentioned issue.
Not yet convinced about the second issue solution, since we should never use #value directly, that should be set by form api. So, if the second one is still happening please open a new issue for it.
