Im currently using biblio in one of my projects and one of the requirements was to be able to access OAI to import them to Biblio. Then found this module http://drupal.org/project/oai_pmh but it's an old dev for 5.x.
Then looking at the issues found that someone actully work it and came out with a 6x dev version ( http://drupal.org/node/466852 )which i started modiffy to integrate it with Biblio. By now it is possible to import OAI records such as DOAJ, which i have been using for testing.
So, since it may be usefull for all of us Biblio users I thought on post here to see if someone else can help to make that early dev something else.

rjerome commentedJust for your info, there is some work going on behind the scenes to add harvesting capabilities into the existing OAI2 module. It will probably be done in about a months time.

jmrivero commentedThose are good news. May be there is some reusable code in the oai_pmh issue I pointed out.

rjerome commentedYes, I've looked at that, and the harvester in the XC project. I have a client who uses the oai_pmh module, but is disappointed with the performance so I am looking for ways to improve it.
