Great module but I don't think there's a way to show the comment controls using panels.

I haven't checked it but I'm almost sure that if you can't display the standard comments control using panels the same applies to slashcomments. If this is not the case, can you give me more details so that I'll try to figure out why?

You're right, you can't display the normal comments controls in Panels using fields. Kind of dumb. I solved it by using a Node Field set to "full node" and "display node comments" set to "yes" then doing some work in the node.tpl.php.

Awesome module, I've been pulling my hair out trying to recreate Reddit's comments but this might actually be better. I'm using it with Markdown (great option for including images) and Comment Driven, pretty nifty.
