Steps to reproduce:

  1. Visit the creation form for a node type having emthumb enabled
  2. Type some text in the title and body fields
  3. Select a custom thumbnail and upload it

Expected Results:
The node creation form retains the user input and shows the uploaded thumbnail.

Actual Results:
The node creation form is empty excepted for the custom thumbnail field.

The attached patch should fix the issue, which seems to be present also in the 6.x-3.x-dev branch.
