I'm using a block in the 'preface top' area using the 'Large text list with green checkmarks' style. I'm using the fluid width option for Acquia Marina.

Viewed with IE6 at 1280 x 1024, the block is positioned correctly, but reduce the resolution and the block drops below the preface area into the content area (see attached screenshot).

I'm desperate for a fix as a large portion of my site users are still using IE6 with screens running at lower resolutions. Any help or suggestions for a fix are welcome.

I just tried the same setup locally and am not running into any issues with the layout in IE6. Could you provide us with a link to your site to see it in action? And have you tried turning on CSS compression on your site's Performance page?

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately the site is secured so that nothing at all is visible without a login, but if it's possible to send you login details privately I'm happy to do that. CSS compression isn't available as the site uses private files.

In the meantime I have found a workaround - setting the block position to 'Position block in the center' rather than 'none' as it was before seems to make it display correctly at all resolutions.

i'm closing this issue as there hasn't been activity since September 2010. Feel free to re-open if eternalistic's solution #1 did not work for you.
