Confirmed. I'd roll a patch but I don't know which way to go. I think the best answer is to make the column nullable, but maybe I'm missing something.

I've commited a fix. I don't get this error myself, so if some of you could update from cvs and see if my fix solves your problem it would be great!

(I just added a quick fix setting the nid and vid to 0 prior to saving the preferences)

Related to/dupe of #1317244: SQL error on /admin/quiz/settings/quiz_form: 'aid' field doesn't have default value... Is there a patch?
