Search and Saved Searches

The search feature allows you to aggregate stories based on certain terms found in the text.

To begin exploring search, click on the Search tab. If you have not set up cron, there will be a red box to the right letting you know that there are stories that still needs to be indexed. You can click the Index content link to index the stories and make them searchable. Give it a minute, indexing can sometimes take a while to run.

Once your content is indexed, fill in the search you would like to make. In this case, I'm searching for the word pakistan:

If you you think the search will be helpful later on, you can click the Save this search button to add a link in the left hand column to the search:

Each search and saved search has it's own RSS feed associated with it (read here for more on re-publishing feeds). Saved searches can also be added as blocks on your dashboard.
