I have read previous issues where this problem has been fixed and yet it isn't working for me. Either it is broken again or I'm missing something. As per the usage instructions I am putting the url together like this:

http://someurl.com/node/add/request?edit[field_number][0][value]=999

This doesn't result in the field "number" being prepopulated. As in previous issues I can prepopulate non-CCK fields such as the node title. I have tried the 6.x-2.x-dev version with the same results.

Is there any fix for this?
