Not sure how the issue queue is used in this project, so this may be a duplicate of #867578: Add drush commands for bulk alias updating/deleting which seems geared toward D7, but this is very very handy and would love to see this happen in a D6 version of pathauto.

It is a duplicate with that. We add things to the 7.x branch first and then backport them. I imagine the code would be very similar - can you try providing a drush.inc file for us?
