I've configured the 'bubble' build mode to use in a views, node, gmap display displaying multiple markers

however, the 'bubble' comes up as if DS/ND isn't installed, I get a 'list' of fields instead of the arrangement I chose in the manage displays ui.

Do you have a live site of this, this works fine on my demo site. Are you sure the build mode isn't excluded and/or you're not using fields in the views interface ?

I attempted to delete the fields I was using in the views interface, but I get a warning that that view is using no fields when I attempt to delete them. So I am using fields. I'll build a view without fields to make this work.

Not exactly sure how to 'exclude' a build mode.

Ok, fields won't work here, only display suite node and a views style of gmap.
