I try to administer the defaults and enforcement settings of an organic group with the og default module. For registration form, groups directory and private group there are no control elements for this settings. I only get empty boxes with the corresponding headers but without the control elements.
It works fine with the other settings like membership request.
When I look at the code of the og defaults module, I see that the 3 settings which do not work for me are controlled by a visibility variable, which seems to come from the og access module. The settings which work fine are not controlled by the visibility variable.
I do not understand the connection between og access settings and og default. What do I have to set in the og access settings, so that I can see the control elements for registration form, groups directory and private group?

liquidcms commentednot sure why controlled by these other settings but this are what is required:
for Private: admin/og/og_access - need to have Private Groups set to one of the last 2 options
for Reg Form, and Directory: admin/og/og - under Group Details, need to have the first 2 sets set to one of last 2 options as well

kompressaur commentedHello i was wanting/hoping to use this module for me to workaround the problem of Private groups not appearing in the og directory. do you think this would be able to do it in time? I might have to rethink my whole group strategy you see. Thanks.

capellicThanks for this -- just what I needed!

liquidcms commentedre: #3.. og directory is simply a View which filters out Private groups.. you are free to change that to whatever you like.
