When I upload a file containing an &, I get weird behavior - the file seems to upload, but in place of the preview I get a number "5", presumably the id or something. The auto-generated title shows "&" in place of the & sign. When I try to insert it, the code that's generated is "[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5:]]"

Thanks for the report. AFAIK i using post all the way, so actually i don not need to url encode but i will check this

Cannot reproduce / works for me in my current version ( thought its not 2.2 but rater 2.3 ). Should be fixed at least in 2.3 then
