Hello.

I am creating albums and images as follows:

1) go to admin/content/image/add and create gallery of desired name
2) go to node/add/image, select gallery created in step 1
3) click image_fupload icon and continue

This is quite non intuitive for me, that there is need to go somewhere else after gallery created and select it again and upload photos then.

Can this be changed? I mean, is there any possibility, that after gallery is created, I would see its name with link below it called "Upload images" which would take me to the node/add/image AND preselect this gallery in select box?

I know gallery display is done via Views, can something be changed there, which would add this feature?

You can do this with a Views header. There's work on Views 3 to add 'add a node' links at the top of a view.
