This initial patch adds a setting to turn off the HTTPS requirement. While testing a new store, this requirement can be a huge problem. The HTTPS requirement defaults to ON for security purposes.

I hope to find time to add the ability to configure an HTTPS URL for shared SSL hosting configurations.

Robert,

There is about 1 year since you post here. We are sorry. But now, i will take care about it. First, i need to know if:
1* It's still a missing feature on A.net
2* Your patch can be rerolled for eC3

if yes on both, i will be glad to commit for eC4 too
