When creating nodes, organic groups selection appears as it should, but it only applies to the node_widget content type, not the referenced nodes. Thus, using it to create multiple nodes you want to appear on the OG page doesn't work, as they don't inherit the parent's group.

Alternatively, you could just display the audience checkboxes for each node instead of inheriting it. This may be better, as it allows the user to select which groups each referenced node appears in, individually.
