When I apply the DRUPAL-6-14.patch on drupal 6.17, it failed to apply the patch for node module. And this really blocked my current work. :(

I can confirm this issue. I patched my 6.17 git tree manually. the attached file is the result of 'git diff' . however, since there are probably differences between 6.14 -> 6.17 , a coresearches dev should have a look at it. maybe something else needs some love.
