Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Miscellaneous bug fixes:
- Remove the use of a PHP 5.4 feature that broke some installationas
- Fix a couple of typos.
- Address a warning when the fifth option to fasttoggle_do_toggle_option is missing (no default value)
Correct dependencies for comment and moderate submodules (they require the node submodule)
Fix an issue in comment toggling where it would be broken on a node that has comments disabled if fasttoggle is set to only toggle between read only and read-write.
Big rework of the code base, aimed at simplifying the task of integrating with other modules. Please see the new Fasttoggle.api.php file for details.
Override node options and modr8 are now supported.
We now also update the display of nodes (ie replace the content) via Ajax when toggling a link. I hope to do more on this - an extra title sometimes appears at the moment.
A large number of changes, including backporting of all the features that have been added in the Drupal 7 version:
- Admin interface for sitewide control of fasttoggleable roles.
- Per node type control of fasttoggling.
- Options to disable enhancement of the node and user overview pages.
- Optional support for blocking user 1.
- Watchdog logging
- Support for toggling user roles
I intend to do a big rework next which will make integration with other modules a much simpler task.
- Make existing admin/user status fasttoggle.
- Fasttoggling of published links in admin/content
- Apply the previous fix to users and comments too.
- Make getting script path more robust.
- Fix user toggling in admin/people.
Known issues:
- Extra CSS is added in admin/people when the fasttoggle link is used. See if I can prevent that somehow.
