I'd like for the autcomplete form to have a tabindex=1, but I have no idea how to add this into the form. I tried copying the code out via source from Firefox and then adding it there but that just results in the form not working.

Hopefully someone can help me for this very simple addition?

You would have to use a Drupal API form hook and add to the #attributes property array. This feature is not supported through the interface of this module, you have to write your own code to do it. It might also be possible to do it via jQuery. I would recommend in developing any site to have a custom module and jquery scripts available for manipulating your site.

Thank you very much for replying however, I have absolutely no idea how to do what you said. I simply just want to have to press tab and jump to the autocomplete field. :(

Can't we just add some code into it? So it's not as simple as adding a few lines of code into the module, for something as small as (or similar to) " tabindex=1 " ??

You are asking for a very specific thing, and it is not as simple as it may first seem. If you use the forms API and create your own module to alter the form and make this change, you will be able to achieve this. If you do not have the skills or patience to learn how to do this then you have to accept that your website will not be 100% to your liking.

I may not have the skills, but then this is why this question is here in the first place. I will look into what you said, but to be honest it's not a very helpful.
