What code can be added to the profile module to recognize a Gallery page as belonging to a G2/drupal user so that the Autor Information block will appear?

I think you'll have to use the gallery theme for this. I know it's possible to show the metadata, but the username? I don't think so. Maybe with the new Kiz user profile module that he his creating right now for D6?

But now for 4.7 for sure.

Feel free to reopen and put the 6.x version if so.
