When you mouse over the Admin menus in IE8, the rounded grey backgrounds do not appear, although the hints do.
The Firefox, Safari, Opera and Google browsers work fine. It’s just IE8 that doesn’t work.
I have attached some screen shots.

JamesK CreditAttribution: JamesK commentedIE8 is still supported, even if it is 2nd-class, these are easy to fix. I think we should only be using the vendor-prefixed attribute for D8 though, since we aren't worried about IE7.

this patch remove the shadow, I did a real test, no problem exist in D8.
