Whenever I log out and try to access an old blog post I get the message access denied. I write a lot of articles and I want anybody and everybody to be able to read them without the ability to edit them. Where and/or how do i set this up?

I believe you are looking for the administration > User Settings > Access control page. You need to give everyone node access permission but restrict the create node and administer node privalages. Go ahead and turn on the edit own node permission.

Does that help? Am I being clear?
