Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
I'd like to be able to give a role the ability to edit certain features of the site such as fonts and colors. Is it possible to do this (perhaps through the theme configuration page)? If it is possible, I'd be willing to discuss sponsoring this feature.
Thanks.

designerbrent CreditAttribution: designerbrent commentedThis is something that I would be happy to consider. The configuration page would be possible and I would love to see this happen. My first priority at the moment is to get the 2.x branch done and to get a Drupal 7 release done as well.
Where I really see this happening is via a sub theme, at least for the moment. The theme would have some basic styles in place and then add options for adjusting the colors, fonts and such.
How does that compare with what you would like to see?

zdean CreditAttribution: zdean commentedI think this sounds pretty much like what I was asking for. For my use case it would be better if it was in the base theme (multisite installation) but I could work with the sub-theme route as well.
Anything I can do to help I will...let me know if you have any ideas for a timeline.
Thanks.

designerbrent CreditAttribution: designerbrent commentedNothing yet. Still working on getting the 7.x branch working. So much of my paying work has been spent on other projects that I haven't had much time to devote to this.
