I created a glider group and now when I remove it and add another one in place it still shows the page list of 5 instead of the 3 nw ones I have for it. It also only shows the first page for that content type and just blank info on the other pages in the block.

Each block of CG require particular setting in Administer - Site Building - Content Glider.

I need more info so I could understood you issue.

well what is happing is that i have created a glider block and had it in a section of the web page. then I changed things around and created a new glider block for that section and it still displays the page links of 1,2,3,4,5, and only shows the one page out of three that i have setup for the new one.
